UsesConbextra EP10 is a low viscocity epoxy grout for situationswhere heavy dynamic or mobile loads are encountered. It isideal for grouting in small gaps between a base plate andsubstrate which needs filling and the structural load be uniformlydistributed. Typical applications are reciprocating machinery,testing equipment, heavy crane and transporter rails, high speedturbines, centrifuges and drop forges.Also for use in conditions where chemical spillage may beencountered. Typical situations could be met in steelworks,refineries, electroplating works and chemical plants.Due to the low viscocity of Conbextra EP10 it can be used tofill hairline cracks in concrete slabs from 0.25mm and larger onhorizontal surfaces using a gravity fed method. Using suitableequipment, Conbextra EP10 can also be used to pressure injectcracks down to 0.10mm.Conbextra EP10 can also be used for anchoring verticalstarter bars and other vertical anchoring applications suchas hold down bolts. Conbextra GP2 is supplied as a ready to use dry powder. The addition of a controlled amount of clean water produces a free flowing, non-shrink grout for gap thicknesses up to 100mm. Conbextra GP2 is a blend of Portland cement, graded fillers and chemical additives which impart controlled expansion in the plastic state whilst minimising water demand. The low water demand ensures high early strength. The graded fillers are designed to assist uniform mixing and produce a consistent grout.
